Yes. we have to submit the capstone project to get certificate done cause it contains 40% marks.
The capstone project carries heavy weightage(40%) as mentioned in the above post.
Along with that create project on hackster.io it carries 22 marks and answer at least 2 questions on Bolt forum!

they said that capstone or any other project using bolt iot. capstone and hackster.io both are not compulsory we can do one out of them.
