Connection to another account

i am connected my bolt device direct through gmail login,
but i want to connect my device to my registered ID but it is not connecting
can i connect my bolt device in other account

You must use the same account to operate your device which you used for it’s connection. If you connected your device with your Gmail account then you must operate from Gmail account only.
Try accessing you device from Gmail account , you may not found any further problem.

Yes. You can connect the device to a different account in two ways.

1] Sharing the device to the second email id.
This is pretty simple. But you won’t be able to create products via the second email and could only access the data collected from the device.

  • Go to hardware section on cloud dashboard.
  • Click on the 3 dots icon under ACTIONS to the right of the device bar.
  • Select “Share this device” and provide the second email id.
  • The device should get listed in the second email’s dashboard.

2] Disowning the device and configuring the device to the second email.
This is what you should be actually doing to get full control of the device using the second email.

2.a] Disconnecting the device from the internet

  • Power on the device and make sure it is connected to the Cloud. [Both the GREEN and BLUE LEDs should be stable]
  • Go to hardware section on cloud dashboard.
  • Click on the 3 dots icon under ACTIONS to the right of the device bar.
  • Select “Device info” and click the “Disconnect” button.
    • This will disconnect the device from the cloud.
    • After this step, make sure the Blue led is blinking slowly. If not, repeat the step

2.b] Removing the ownership
Don’t perform this step if the above step is not complete

  • Go to hardware section on cloud dashboard.
  • Click on the 3 dots icon under Actions to the right of the device bar.
  • Select “Share this device” and click on the “X” sign next to your email.
    This will remove ownership of the device from the current account.

2.c] Setting up the device using the second email
Open Bolt IoT app on mobile and make sure you are logged in using the second email.

  • Follow the steps on the app to connect the device to the new email id.
