In the above code you have missed 2 lines-

1.)required_data_count=conf.FRAME_SIZE-len(history_data) - This line is used to denote the frame size.
2.)response = sms.send_sms(“Someone turned on the lights”) - It sends the message to the receiver to turn on the lights.

It should be conf.SID not conf.SSID

I guess there is some problem with your indentation too.
