How to connect bolt iot module to open source wifi?

GOOD MORNING SIR ,
My school has a open source wifi which dosent require any password for connection , but when i am setting up a BOLT DEVICE for first time through app it dosent move ahead without giving password . Kindly help me out in this !!!

Connect to the public wifi network using your laptop and using that wifi create a hotspot. Now connect the bolt module to the hotspot of your laptop which requires the id and password you had set. If this works, excellent, else try to connect your module with phone’s hotspot.

thanks for your quick response !! but infortunately i dont have a laptop in my school . i have a desktop . can you suggest me anything else . i have a my mob,bolt iot module,lan connection in my desktop and a open wifi connection in my school

try connecting your phone to the desktop hotspot network then connect the Iot device via Bolt app on your mobile

THANKS VARUN , BUT MY DESKTOP DOSENT HAVE WIFI it has WIRED LAN CONNECTION

You can connect your module with your phone’s hotspot. It will also be convenient to use.
