Internet Protocol Address

Does the Wifi module support IPv4?

Hi @arshds289,

Yes, Bolt device support the IPv4 protocol. What exactly are you trying to achieve ?

As shown below the webcam application’s server when started generates a IPv4 & IPv6 address link which, I’m trying embed in my code section in the configuration settings using Iframe tag.

Hi,

IPv4 functions of the Bolt WiFi module are handled internally in the firmware of the Bolt WiFi module.

It cannot be configured, or changed.

If you could give details of what project you are trying to build, and what role you want the Bolt WiFi module to play, we might be able to help you better.

IPv4 provides a unique identification number to each device connected to the internet, allowing for data transfer between devices over a network. Many Wi-Fi modules also support IPv6, which provides a larger address space and improved security features compared to IPv4. However, IPv4 remains the dominant protocol used in most free IP PBX networks today.
