Keyboard not working in Ubuntu

Not able to login Ubuntu,as it is not taking keyboard inputs. Could someone help me on this issue?

Try choosing correct keyboard type while installing ubuntu.

@manigowdas10 if you are referring to the fact that, UBUNTU isn’t taking the input at the time of password then it is not so. At the time of entering password you can’t see what is being typed in the terminal due to security reasons. Say the password is abcd then you just have to type the same and hit enter. There will be nothing displayed while you enter the details on the terminal. After hitting enter you will be notified whether the entered password is right or not.

And if you saying that nothing is being typed by the keyboard in Ubuntu then it must be an error from your side during installation. I have answered the same query in a different thread. If this is the problem then you can refer to this post:

Facing the same issue and finally installed CentOS mentioned on this alternative to ubuntu article.
