Hi. a ESP8266 board can withstand upto 3.6V which is why it is great for school/college level, small scale projects.

Hi, in BOLT module the digital pins i.e GPIO can withstand the maximum voltage from 0 V to 3.3 V and the analog pins like ADC pin can withstand the maximum voltage from 0 V to 1 V only.
