I already have ubuntu 18.04 installed as a separate OS in my laptop along with Windows. Do I still need to install ubuntu server using virtual box for creating a virtual server??

I prefer not to install virtual box , since you have ubuntu OS . Since, in ubuntu we can use terminal and you can access your training courses from mozilla firefox in ubuntu…!!

If python3 is available, then you don’t need to install the ubuntu on Vmware/virtualbox. There is one more method where you can run all your code online . Check this link VMware, Virtualbox, Digital Ocean all are not working : Solved
