Power Supply to esp8266

Can the bolt IoT module be used as power supply to power the 3.3v to esp8266 and 5v to sensor. I will also use it for uart communication. Bolt module heats up after 5 minutes of operation.

Hi @Rahulk15,
If you use 5V to power the sensor, your Bolt module should not heat much, but if you draw too much current from the 3.3V output, it will indeed heat up as it uses a linear voltage regulator and converts excess energy into heat for dropping the voltage from 5V to 3.3V. So you may use the 3.3 V output to power your esp8266, but if heating is an issue you may use a buck converter/external linear voltage regulator to convert 5V to 3.3V to power the ESP.
