Problem in connection for light sensing monitor device

In the training video it was taught to connect one pin of LDR in 3v3 and one in A0. But in the documentation part of bolt cloud, it is written that we have to connect one end of LDR in 5v and other end in A0. So what shall we do? Should we connect LDR in 3v3 or 5v?
