If you face any trouble accessing ubuntu server then, I suggest one more option that is not mentioned in this Course, we can also run in COMMAND PROMPT in your system.
You need to add python to command prompt and add BOLT library, same as shown in this course.
once try this method.

You can also use linux subsystem for windows to use ubuntu terminal. You can watch the video regarding the setup for the same.
