What is the voltage of 255 analog read? Also is it different from the 1023 analog read in a potentiometer.

The analogue to digital converter(analog read) is a ten bit device and the analog write is eight bit.
So10 bit to binary you’ll get 1023= approx 5millivolt per step/level.
Converting is simply done by dividing by four.
