  1. Always use the alphanumeric password.
  2. Avoid using easy to guess passwords like your pets name, birth date, house number, bike/cars number, your phone number, etc.

There are a few reasons why you might not be able to change the WiFi network to your own phone’s hotspot using the steps in the troubleshoot tab:

  • Your phone’s hotspot may be turned off.
  • Your phone’s hotspot may be broadcasting on a different frequency band than your device supports.
  • Your phone’s hotspot may be using a security protocol that your device does not support.
  • There may be a problem with your device’s WiFi adapter.

To troubleshoot the problem, try the following:

  1. Make sure that your phone’s hotspot is turned on.
  2. Make sure that your phone’s hotspot is broadcasting on the same frequency band as your device supports. Most devices support the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands.
  3. Make sure that your phone’s hotspot is using a security protocol that your device supports. Most devices support WPA2-PSK security.
  4. Try restarting your device and your phone.
  5. Try updating the firmware on your device.
  6. Try connecting to your phone’s hotspot using a different device. If you are able to connect to your phone’s hotspot using a different device, then the problem is likely with your device’s WiFi adapter.

If you are still having problems, contact your device manufacturer or your phone’s carrier for further assistance.

Here are some additional tips for connecting to a WiFi hotspot:

  • Make sure that your device is within range of the WiFi hotspot.
  • Make sure that your device has a clear line of sight to the WiFi hotspot.
  • Avoid connecting to WiFi hotspots in crowded areas, as this can interfere with the signal.
  • Try connecting to a different WiFi hotspot, if possible.
