Your bolt iot wifi module is not connecting to my mobile…
Your WiFi module can connects only to the 2.4GHz n all latest Android mobiles can connect to the 5 GHz frequency wifi.
Please help.

Your must be in default wifi setting, just change your frequency and then you will good to go.

@maithilisude19072001 The notification shown is just a warning notification telling you that the Bolt will not connect to 5GHz WiFi even though your phone can connect to it.
In the WiFi list, you will need to choose a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
Just visit your WiFi settings and select the AP Band to 2.4 GHz Band and then your mobile hotspot can be used for adding device.
After that warning… can we have to connect it to wifi only… not mobile hotspot via WiFi ?
You don’t need a wifi router nor secondary mobile to connect bolt to wifi network, you can connect your bolt module and any other devices using single mobile hotspot by following few steps:
- Sign in to bolt mobile app and after logging in through gmail turn OFF your mobile data and hotspot if any,then click on ADD DEVICES .
2.Complete those 3 steps and select READY option,it will ask you to enable location, then u will get your Bolt device and the status will be showing as secured , then click CONTINUE .
3.Then it will ask you to Add Network/setup VIA Hotspot , click on that option.
4.U will be asked to enter SSID name and password, here you have to enter your mobile hotspot name and password and click the dialog box of " check if setting up via mobile hotspot".
5.Click CONNECT option and then u will be asked to turn ON your hotspot, come back and again you will be asked to ON turn your mobile data.
6.Then wait for your bolt module’s to show green led and with constant blue led light device ready to use.
7.If there is some error popping up then go for troubleshoot and click skip option and continue with your project happily.

Check your phone’s hostpot setting if you can choose between 2.4 or 5 GHz frequency… First.
Sir, your WiFi which you are trying to connect is of 5GHz frequency but the Bolt WiF module can connect to those networks which are of 2.4GHz.
So, please try to connect via your phone’s hotspot…just by clicking on ADD NETWORK/VIA PHONE HOTSPOT.
it will ask you to enter the name and password of your phones hotspot and then follow the further instructions given by your phone.
