I am unable to connect the module to the cloud as in the lecture “Linking the microcontroller module to the cloud”. One of the step to connect is not in the video.
After connecting the device to the bolt hotspot, i got a message like this.
Then i switched to my home’s WiFi router. Now it shows “Device does not exist”
(I can attach only one image it seems. So i am not able to attach the image for this particular pop-up)
First of all, while adding the device, you have to select your home wifi and type the password to connect your device in the app. Next you have to change the wifi in your phone to your home wifi.
These are the steps you have to follow:
Select add a device after switching of your mobile data.
Now you have to connect your phone to the hardware using the password.
Now you have to select a wifi in the app to connect your hardware device to the cloud.
Last part is the place where it is gone wrong for you.
Now after selecting wifi settings select the same wifi to which you connected your hardware device.
Your hardware will be successfully connected to cloud

I AM UNABLE TO CONNECT MY DEVICE TO CLOUD, IN SETUP I HAVE CONNECTED TO BOLT NETWORK, THEN THE BOLT DEVICE IS SETUO SUCCESFULLY, AFTER THAT WHEN I CLICK CONTINUE IT SHOWS A PAGE TO ENTER SSID, PASSWORD TO CONNECT TO A NETWORK, BUT WHEN I ENTER MY WIFI DETAILS IT DOENT CONNECT SAYS NO INTERNET , WHERE AS MY INTERNET IS WORKING FINE WITH ALL OTHER DEVICES
Power on the bolt wifi module and open the Bolt app
The blue led should blink slowly.
click on add device. select copy password and click on the green button “open wifi settings”. This will open your phone wifi settings. Select the BOLT devices from the list with the "BOLT " prefix. Paste the copied password there and click on connect. If it asks you to keep wifi connection then agree it.
It will say connected without internet. At this point the blue LED will blink rapidly.
Next come back to the bolt app and click on “Continue” green button.
Now you will get a list of wifi networks in your area. Select your wifi network and enter the correct password. Make sure that the network is 2.4 giga hertz . Then click on connect.
If the connection is proper the Blue LED will become stable and the Green LED will also become stable. You will get a success message.
Next click on link device. This will link the bolt module to your email id and you will be able to view it in the cloud dashboard.
